I. Background:
From December 2022 to June 2023, the Wildlife Conservation Society, Viet Nam Office (WCS Viet Nam) conducted research on legal and illegal wildlife trade (IWT) and wild meat consumption situation in Viet Nam on online platforms; and explored social attitudes (for or against) on ending the commercial trade in high zoonotic risk wild birds and mammals.
WCS Viet Nam will organize a workshop to consult with media agencies/journalists, NGOs, public health and law experts to: (i) identify key messages, (ii) orient for developing journalistic and media works and (iii) select suitable communication channels to promote advocacy for policy reform on zoonotic diseases on endangered wildlife and manage the risk of zoonotic disease transmission from wildlife to humans along the wildlife supply chain in Viet Nam.
WCS is seeking a consultant to develop and implement communication activities as results/guided from the workshop with detailed objectives and deliverables as outlined below.

Total allotted time (total working days): the consultant is encouraged to discuss the TOR in details with WCS before submitting the financial proposal
IV. Requirements (selection criteria):
- Consultant with at least 5 years of working experience in maximizing communication effectiveness;
- Consultant with experience working with NGOs, providing communication support to projects related to public health banking and finance, or sustainable development/ sustainable economy;
- Consultant with at least a bachelor's degree in journalism, or public health, economy/ finance, and at least 10 years of experience writing about public health, and/ or law advocacy leading newspaper in Viet Nam.

i, Curriculum vitae, demonstrating work experience with reputable mainstream media outlets in Vietnam
ii, A minimum of 03 published articles or products related to community health, wildlife, policies and laws
iii, Financial proposal, specifying the total estimated number of working days and the daily rate in Vietnamese Dong (VND), including personal income tax.
