P2P is a comprehensive tool for case analysis applicable to all wildlife-related crimes that is presented as a quick guide to look up each violation that can be prosecuted in wildlife-related cases. P2P has been applied successfully in investigation, prosecution crimes related to wildlife in many African coutries. This guide was first time developed in Viet Nam using the P2P approach in referencing to experiences and materials from other countries. This is an inter-agency collaboration activity with involvement of the People's Procuracy at different levels, local and international legal experts to develop, provide comments, edit and finalize the guide.
The workshop is also an opportunity for participants to practice the application of P2P to detect inadequacies and problems in handling wildlife-related cases that need guidance, and exchange skills and experience in exercising the prosecution rights, supervising the investigation, prosecution, and adjudication of wildlife-related cases.
