 | Grace Dom Legal & Policy Advisor Grace Dom joins WCS PNG program again as Legal and Policy Advisor and leads all policy and legal related work for the country program. She completed a law degree at the University of Papua New Guinea. She spent a number of years working in government on international law and human rights issues. In 2009, Grace began working with a local environmental law NGO, focusing on assisting indigenous rural communities whose environment and livelihoods had been negatively affected by resource development. She is particularly interested in pursuing the possibilities a rights-based approach presents, in shaping and guiding national (and international) climate change policy making. |

 | Harshad Hemant Karandikar Conservation Director, Papua New Guinea Harshad Hemant Karandikar serves as Conservation Director, WCS Papua New Guinea Programme.
He joined WCS PNG in July 2024 as Conservation Director.
He holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley. In his PhD work, he studied animal behaviour and space use in South America.
Before his PhD, Harshad was the thematic lead for human wildlife conflict management for WWF-India.
He also holds an MBA and a degree in engineering and has previously worked in industry and with the government.
