Coney Island, NY – June 18, 2018 – The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is holding a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018, for the opening of the Donald Zucker and Barbara Hrbek Zucker Ocean Wonders: Sharks! exhibit at the New York Aquarium.    

Members of the media are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and preview the new exhibit.

The opening of Ocean Wonders: Sharks! is a transformative moment for the New York Aquarium. The exhibit inspires awe and admiration for sharks as keystone species in the world’s ocean. Sharks are top predators, help to regulate the populations of other species, and a vital balance to a healthy ocean.
