The Climate-Smart Community Development Plans (PDCCI) were developed through a participatory process by communities, together with local governments, community-based organizations, and technical partners, within the framework of the Resilient and Biodiverse Landscapes of Northern Mesoamerica project, funded by the Biodiverse Landscapes Fund (BLF).
These documents identify the main risks associated with climate change, prioritize actions to strengthen community resilience, and promote biodiversity conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources across the Maya Forest, Trifinio, and La Moskitia landscapes.
