The Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo and New York Aquarium have opened registration for family, youth, and camp programs for the 2014 spring and summer season.

Programs include age-appropriate hands-on science activities, animal encounters, exhibit visits, and arts-and-crafts.

Early registration is recommended as space is limited, and camps will sell out.

Programs at the WCS Bronx Zoo include:

Toddler Camp
Ages 2 to 3 with adult

June 16 to 20 (Two sessions: 10:15 and 11:45 a.m.)
June 23 to 27 (Two Sessions: 10:15 and 11:45 a.m.)

Kinder Zoo
Ages 4 to 5

NEW Tidal Tykes
Ages 4 to 5

June 30 to July 3; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During this new program, children will discover the world of wildlife through visits to animal exhibits, crafts, storytelling and more.

Aquatic Adventurers
Ages 6 to 8
Session 1: July 7 to July 11; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Session 2: July 28 to Aug. 1; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Session 3: Aug. 18 to 22; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Young adventurers will discover aquatic habitats and the animals that call them home through art projects, hands-on activities and more.

Marine Explorers
Ages 9 to 11

Session 1: July 14 to 18; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Session 2: Aug. 4 to 8; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Session 3: Aug. 25 to 29; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fee per session: Members $350; Non-members $375
Children will discover the variety of careers that exist in the field of marine science and conservation. Participants will be exposed to the intricacies of animal care and scientific research.

Junior Oceanographers
Ages 12 to 14

Aug. 11 to 14; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fee: Members $380; Non-members $405
Designed for older children, this program offers a new appreciation of the natural world through design experiments, improvisational acting, and discussions with guest speakers.
