WCS Releases YouTube Video on Monitoring Tigers
NEW YORK (March 9, 2009) – The Wildlife Conservation Society’s India Program (WCS – India) has released a unique training video on YouTube that showcases the latest scientific methods for estimating the numbers of wild tigers and their prey. Fresh Start for a Snow Leopard Orphan
The Bronx Zoo is giving refuge to a young snow leopard orphan abandoned in Pakistan. The transfer of this endangered cat united the Pakistani government, the U.S. State Department, and WCS in a remarkable conservation effort.
