New York, Oct. 1, 2025 -- The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and The Picture House Regional Film Center in Bronxville present REEL WILD™ NEW YORK, a showcase of award-winning wildlife films and conservation storytelling from around the globe. Over two days, audiences will experience six acclaimed films spanning Africa, the Americas, India, and beyond. Each screening is paired with filmmaker and scientist Q&As.
Two of the featured films include: The Last Ranger (Oscar Nominee, 2024); and Disneynature’s Sea Lions of the Galapagos (narrated by Brendan Fraser).
This event is a part of REEL WILD™ NEW YORK Film Festival launched earlier this year, building on WCS’s legacy of bringing wildlife and wild places to audiences through its zoos, aquarium, and groundbreaking films. Through powerful storytelling, REEL WILD™️ New York engages viewers in the beauty and urgency of protecting our planet, connecting them with the voices of filmmakers and WCS conservation scientists and inspiring them to take action.
“REEL WILD™ NEW YORK is a natural evolution in WCS’s history of inspiring millions to care about nature,” added John Calvelli, WCS Executive Vice President of Public Affairs.
