Operating in more than 50 countries around the world, the WCS has been a major actor of conservation for more than 30 years in the Republic of Congo, one of its largest country programs.
The WCS seeks to combine the integrity of protected areas and the sustainable management of natural resources, to ensure the well-being of both ecosystems and people, in a healthy and prosperous environment.
Local populations are at the heart of our action and beneficiaries of our conservation efforts. The WCS works closely with the government and all stakeholders to protect Congo’s rich ecosystems.
