Kongsy Khammavong
Project Officer - Wildlife Health
Kongsy KHAMMAVONG completed her Bachelor's degree in forestry in 2008 at National University of Laos. She worked as a WCS Research Student in 2008, conducting an evaluation of wildlife trade in markets and resturants. She started working with WCS as a Project assistant in the Wildlife Trade Project for two years after finishing University and then she moved to work as a Project Officer in the Wildlife Health Team, looking primarly at zoonotic diseases in traded wildlife. In 2011, she attended a training course on tropical biology in Borneo and in 2012 attended a training course in inteview techniques for use in subsistence villages.
Sinpakone Singhalath
Wildlife Health Project Assistant
Sinpakone studied at the National University of Laos. Here he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He is now a Project Assistant at WCS Lao PDR.
