Communications Intern (1 Post)
The Wildlife Conservation Society, founded in 1895, has the clear mission to save wildlife and wild places across the globe. WCS's goal is to conserve the world's largest wild places in 16 priority regions, home to more than 50% of the world's biodiversity. We currently manage about 500 conservation projects in more than 60 countries.
WCS has been working in partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia since 1999, providing technical advice and support for the conservation of key habitats and species across the country.
The WCS Cambodia program is growing rapidly! We are expanding our team and are looking for applications from qualified candidates to fill the following position. Detailed job description of the position is attached.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Fresh graduate or recent year 3-4 university students (bachelor’s degree level in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, International Relations, Media managements, Journalism)
- Fresh or at least one year experience in digital communications, journalism, or social media, ideally at an NGO or IO in Cambodia.
- Experience in writing, editing, content production, and dissemination for online audiences at the national and international levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required; knowledge of Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is an asset.
- Experience in design and photography is an asset.
- Written and oral fluency in English and Khmer is required.
- Able to work autonomously after being briefed on tasks and goals.
- Able to work comfortably and effectively across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups.
- Willingness to travel to remote field sites for extended periods.
