Barnyard Bonanza
Experience the farm without leaving the city! Children will feed Aggie the cow and her barnyard companions, learn about farm life while making butter, and put hand to feather when they meet a chicken in the Zoo classroom.

Talkin’ Turkey
Gobble, Wattle, Snood! Children will visit the Zoo’s turkeys, learn all about these feathered friends, and make a take-home craft!

Keeping up with Keepers
Roll up your sleeves and help the keepers care for the animals. Join us behind the scenes to find out what a keeper’s job entails.

All about Owls
Delve into the winged world of owls! Children will learn how to use field guides to identify these amazing birds, meet a special guest in the Zoo classroom, and will get their hands dirty discovering an owl’s wild diet by dissecting owl pellets.

Prospect Park Zoo – Open every day of the year. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for seniors 65 and older, $3 for kids 3-12, free for children under 3. Zoo hours are 10am to 5pm weekdays, and 10am – 5:30pm weekends, April through October, and 10am – 4:30pm daily, November through April.  The Prospect Park Zoo is located at 450 Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
