Bronx, NY – Dec. 18, 2012 – On Friday, December 21, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. will join Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo to distribute toys to local Bronx military families for the holidays.
The toys have been collected by WCS’s Bronx Zoo in partnership with the Borough President’s annual holiday toy drive.
As a holiday treat for those in attendance, Santa and Mrs. Claus will help distribute the toys.

The partnership between the Bronx Zoo and the Borough President on the toy drive has become an annual tradition. The Bronx Zoo serves as a collection point for new, unwrapped toys donated by members of the community for distribution to families of veterans and active duty members of the military.
