Ten held for poaching leopard in Salekasa, chopping paws | Times of India
It’s raining tiger and leopard skins and body parts in the region. In a raid on poachers, the Nagpur forest division officials arrested ten accused from Salekasa under Gondia forest division for hunting a leopard and removing its paws and other body parts.

Greed lands two big cat killers in soup | Bangalore Mirror
Karnataka State Forest Department officials recently nabbed two men who allegedly trapped a leopard, killed it and severed its paws. The arrests were made within 24 hours after forest officials found the leopard carcass.

25 parakeets rescued, one held for poaching | Millennium Post
A person was arrested from Phansidewa in the Darjeeling district for poaching parakeets. Local residents stated that a group of youths had been poaching parakeets in the paddy fields of Phansidewa. The locals chased the poachers and managed to catch one. They then informed the Forest Department. Forest personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the parakeets.

Tusker electrocuted | The Hindu
A wild tusker aged about 35 years was electrocuted at Malligenahalli near Lingadahalli in Tarikere taluk. The animal came in contact with an electric fence put by a farmer to protect his maize farm from wild animals. The place is close to Tyagadabagi Reserve Forest area.

A live pangolin was rescued from Binayak Nagar in Laxmi Nrusingha Sahi under Bada Bazar police limits in Berhampur. Reportedly, locals had spotted the pangolin crossing the road. On getting information, forest department officials rushed to the area and rescued the pangolin.

The foresters at the Nagarahole Tiger Reserve nabbed one of the three members of a gang that is involved in smuggling of sandalwood. They also confiscated sandalwood logs that were in possession of the accused, along with sharp weapons.
