Ensnared big cat dies in Eturunagaram forest, two held | 3 October 2021
A big cat, suspected to be a tiger, was caught in a snare set up by some hunters in the forest area of SS Tadwail Mandall in Mulugu district. The big cat appears to have died while in the snare and authorities have taken into custody two persons believed to have set up the snares, sources say.

A headless carcass of leopard cub found | 6 October 2021
A one-year-old leopard cub was poached in the Narkhed forest range under the Nagpur division. The headless carcass of the animal was found floating in a nullah on Banor-Thadipaoni road.
