Bengaluru: Principal Chief Conservator of forests and Chief Wildlife Warden, Kerala Mr. Surendrakumar visited the WCS-India office and interacted with Country Director Prakriti Srivastava and other senior staff. He was appreciative of the work done by the organisation across the spectrum of work including combatting wildlife trafficking, voluntary relocation, new initiatives around marine conservation etc and evinced interest in collaborating in some of the areas. He also promised the department’s cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
WCS India Country Director introduced the PCCF who had been her mentor during her initial days in the department, noting that he was a kind yet determined officer who did not hesitate in taking the required action.
