KoBoToolbox is a free and open source cloud-based electronic data collection system based on Google’s Open Data Kit (ODK) that allows conservation practitioners to collect survey data on mobile devices, even without an internet connection. Using electronic survey forms and cloud-based data storage can save weeks of data entry and cleaning, and dramatically reduces the risk of losing data, which is more likely in the challenging environments in which conservation practitioners often work. OpenFN is a data integration platform that provides secure, scalable infrastructure for integrating data and automating business processes - helping conservation practitioners spend less time processing and sharing data, and more time focusing on their core work. OpenFn can (1) automatically extract data from KoboToolbox or other data sources, (2) clean data, and (3) load and map data into other destination systems.

ConSoSci Connect is a platform (in development) that delivers secure data storage, centralized management, analysis and visualization tools for social science data. It performs automated queries and generates visualizations in compelling dashboards.This enables users to easily monitor progress towards user-defined indicators in near real-time, share results, as well as run custom analyses to further investigate social science data collected in the field.
