Narangerel Naranpurev
Community Engagement Coordinator
Narangerel Naranpurev is a Community Engagement Coordinator at WCS Mongolia program. She is conservationist over 10 years' experience in Mongolia, specializing in natural resource management, community-based conservation, and ecological restoration. Her expertise includes endangered species protection (particularly Przewalski's horse), and she's worked with The Nature Conservancy, Zorig Foundation and Hustai National Park on various projects, including research and conservation planning. She holds a Master's in Environmental Science and a Bachelor's in Ecological Science, and is a graduate of the US State Department's Professional Fellows Program and serves as a regional leader for the Conservation Coaches Network.
Sarantuya Dolgorsuren
Camp Caretaker
Sarantuya is a Camp Caretaker at WCS Mongolia program, living in Dornogovi Aimag, Khatanbulag Soum. Alongside her work as a Camp Caretaker, she is also a herder, managing her livestock. Sarantuya graduated from secondary school in Khatanbulag Soum and has strong ties to her local community.
Suvd-Erdene Khishigbayar
Local Coordinator
Suvd-Erdene Khishigbayar is a Local Coordinator in Umnugovi province of WCS Mongolia program. She graduate of the Mongolian State University of Education (MSUE) in Ulaanbaatar, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Geography Education. Driven by a passion for communication, she further specialized in journalism by completing advanced courses at the Press Institute in Ulaanbaatar. She was Teacher at Center for Lifelong education of Umnugovi province and Journalist in Umnugovi province Governor’s Office, Mongol HD TV station & Among Mongolia production. She has invested in continuous professional development, completing several training programs in Leadership, Presentation Skills, and Community Journalism. Her diverse background and commitment to growth make her a well-rounded professional with the skills to effectively communicate and raise awareness on environmental and social issues.
Tsend-Ayush Perenlei
Driver
Tsend-Ayush Perenlei is a Driver for the WCS Mongolia program. He graduated from the Extractive Industry College in Erdenet city. With over 25 years of experience as a driver throughout Mongolia, he has extensive knowledge of the country's roads and regions. Most recently, he worked for Mercy Corps from 2003 to 2012, where he gained valuable experience in transportation and logistics.
Tsengun Gantumur
Community Engagement Facilitator
Tsengun Gantumur is a Community Engagement Facilitator at WCS Mongolia program. She completed her M.Sc. in Ecology at the National University of Mongolia (NUM). Subsequently, she joined the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, where she worked as a Researcher at the Botanical Garden Institute in the Vegetation Ecology and Economy Laboratory. Her research primarily focused on long-term monitoring of vegetation in dry grasslands. During her bachelor's studies, she specialized in pasture ecology, and her master's research centered on snow leopard population ecology.
Tserennadmid Sonor
Conservation Governance Coordinator
Tserennadmid Sonor is a Conservation Governance Coordinator at WCS Mongolia. She is with 10 years of academic experience in ecology and environmental and socio-economic assessment, she brings a strong foundation in sustainability and environmental studies. Additionally, she has 5 years of executive experience in business management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from the National University of Mongolia, a Master of Science in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Finance and Economics of Mongolia.
Tsolmon Bereeter
HR & Admin Officer
Tsolmon Bereeter is a HR & Admin Officer for the WCS Mongolia program. She joined WCS Mongolia in 2017 as an Office Admin. Tsolmon holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Eco Asia Environmental and Management University, which she earned in 2021, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Translation from Orkhon Aimag Foreign Language Institute, completed in 1996. Additionally, she has specialized training in Human Resources, which she completed in 2013. Before joining WCS Mongolia, Tsolmon worked for World Vision International Mongolia for 15 years and was subcontracted by Scope Global's “Australian Volunteers for International Development” program, where she served as a Program Support Officer for 4 years, from 2013 to 2017.
Uugantsetseg Batgerel
Finance Officer
Uugantsetseg Batgerel is a Finance Officer for the WCS Mongolia program. She graduated from the Institute of Finance and Economics of Mongolia. Prior to joining WCS Mongolia, she worked as an accountant for Skytel Group. She has been serving as the accountant for WCS Mongolia since 2013, bringing her expertise in finance and accounting to support the organization's operations.
