The Northern Appalachian/Acadian Ecoregion Conservation Planning Atlas

The Northern Appalachian/Acadian Ecoregion Conservation Planning Atlas is hosted by DataBasin. The goal of the atlas is to provide transboundary environmental information to land owners, land managers, landuse planners, and conservation and community groups in the region to support sustainable landuse and conservation planning. If you have questions about the atlas of need any assistance using the atlas please send an email to 2c1forest@gmail.org.

U.S. National Land Cover Database (NLCD) - The primary objective of the NLCD is to provide a nationally complete, current, consistent, and public domain information on U.S. land cover. Land cover information is critical for local, state, and federal managers and officials to assist them with issues such as assessing ecosystem status and health, modeling nutrient and pesticide runoff, understanding spatial patterns of biodiversity, land use planning, deriving landscape pattern metrics, and developing land management policies.

Vermont Center for Geographic Information (VCGI) - VCGI is your source for Vermont's geospatial data, information, and activities. VCGI is a division of the Agency of Commerce and Community Development charged by the State of Vermont with assisting the Vermont GIS community as well as anyone interested in geospatial technology or mapping.
