WCS Global Initiatives

The conservation of wildlife and wild places is being compromised the world over by business and conservation, climate change, ecosystem services, conservation and the quality of human life and wildlife health threats. These multi-faced issues provide both challenges and opportunities for conservation. WCS is committed to taking lessons learned from our field sites and partners and broadening our approach to addressing Global Initiatives to foster innovative and effective conservation.  We are seeking proposals researching the intersection between conservation of WCS species and landscapes and global initiatives, particularly focusing on policy analysis/outcomes related to this intersection.
